Are you a Member of The Magic Circle?

Yes, I am one of less than 70 Women in The World who belong to The Prestigious Magic Circle.

Are you a Member of any other Organisations?

Yes, as well as The Magic Circle, I am also a  Member of Equity, The Union for Professional Performers.

What kind of Magic do you do?

I perform Close-Up Magic, which is also sometimes known as Table Hopping, Mix & Mingle Magic, Sleight of Hand Magic or Table Magic. I use playing cards, coins, elastic bands and other everyday objects to perform magic miracles that happen right in your own hands or at your table!

Do you do stage magic?

No, the magic I perform is Close-Up Magic which uses coins, cards and everyday objects; there are no doves, rabbits or sawing people in half! However I also offer what is known as “Parlour Magic”which is magic performed for a small group of people for example at a Dinner Party or an Awards Dinner. This is not strictly cabaret magic, but is appropriate for a larger audience than Close-Up Magic. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your particular requirements.

How much do you charge?

It’s impossible for me to give one set price as there are so many factors that have an impact, such as length of performance, location, time of day, day of the week, time of year, special requirements etc but please do feel free to contact me with your requirements and we can discuss it further.

Are you insured?

Yes I have £10million worth of Public Liability Insurance which is provided by Equity. Details and Policy Number are available upon request.

I don’t actually know what I want, can you advise me?

Yes I certainly can! I have many years of experience performing Close-Up Magic and have performed at a huge variety of functions, so by all means give me a call and we can discuss your function and timings in detail and I will be only too pleased to advise you where and when Close-Up Magic will work best.

Do you work with other Magicians?

I am not part of any double act however I frequently work with other Magicians if the size of a function means it requires more than one Magician. Through years of performing Close-Up Magic I have accumulated a database of Professional Magicians and am happy to recommend other Magicians should your function require it.

Have you won any awards?

Yes I am the first (and only) Woman ever to have been voted Winner of The Bristol Society of Magic Close Up Competition. I have also been voted Winner of The Bristol Society of Magic Stage Competition as well as being awarded the Parker Cup for Comedy and The Vic Bradley ‘Magician of The Year’ Memorial Trophy!

Have you been featured in magazines, press or radio?

Yes I have been featured in numerous Magazine and Press articles, including a feature article in The Stage and a double page colour spread in The Daily Mirror. I have also performed magic live on the radio on numerous occasions as well as being invited by BBC Radio Bristol to be their celebrity guest for their fantasy dinner party show. Do you do Store Openings and Promotions?

Yes, Close-Up Magic works really well for both Store Openings & Promotions. If required I can also incorporate balloon modelling which can also include your own logo’d balloons for added publicity. Please feel free to contact me for more details.

Do you do Magic for children?

Although Close-Up Magic is primarily aimed at Adults and older Children, I do always carry a range of material suitable for children of all ages. I can also incorporate balloon modelling in some situations, however this does need to be arranged in advance as it’s not something I always carry as standard. Do you do Magic at weddings?

Yes! Magic works Brilliantly for Weddings! There are 3 main times that work well. Firstly, while the Bride & Groom are having their photographs taken; as this means the guests are well entertained and takes the pressure off having to hurry the pictures. Or, during the courses of the Wedding Breakfast or Alternatively, during the “lull” between the afternoon and evening receptions. Close-Up Magic works equally well at any of these times, or you may wish to have a combination of two or even all three. I can also cater for any Children that may be at the Wedding, including Balloon Modelling provided this is arranged in advance.

How many people can you see at a function?

On average I perform Close-Up Magic for between 90 minutes and 2 hours at a function, and as a rule of thumb I will get to see around 100 people in that time. If you have more people, that’s fine, you just need to be aware that I may not get to see them all or may have to spend a little less time with each group. If you have a particularly large function, from my years of performing I now have a large database of Professional Magicians that I can bring along, so we can entertain even the largest of functions!

What happens if you are ill?

In all my years of performing magic, I can honestly say I have never missed a gig! If however it did happen that I was unable to perform at a function, I do have a large database of Professional Magicians I could call upon and I would do all I could to ensure you still had magical entertainment at your function.

Will you travel?

Yes! I am based in Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset, so I am based between Taunton & Bristol, however I spend a huge amount of time in my car as I travel all over the country to perform Magic! The furthest I have travelled to perform Magic is Dubai and I’ve also been flown out to Guernsey to Perform magic for a 50th Birthday Party, so yes, travelling is absolutely fine!
